The Blackwood Brothers Quartet will be in concert at First Baptist Church Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. with a  fellowship to follow. This will kick off the revival.  The revival is Monday, the 11th, Tuesday, the 12th and Wednesday, the 13th at 7:00 p.m. nightly.  Different pastors in the Association are preaching each night.  Bro. Ralph Heiney will conclude the revival on Wednesday Night.

NEW Ladies Bible Study will be starting on April 9th at 6:30 in the church parlor. Bi-monthly meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Mondays. The group has selected another Beth Moore study-- Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of The Spirit. The $15 member book provides a personal study experience five days a week plus viewer guides for the group video sessions of this in-depth women's Bible study of the fruit as presented in the book of Galatians. Beth walks participants through each trait listed in the fruit and encourages women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. The member book is not required for participation. Please join this wonderful group of ladies (we have members from other churches) as we learn more about God’s plan for our lives and fellowship together.

The Girls in Action recently participated in Children's Ministry Month. They collected school supplies for kids. Nine sacks were prepared with ABC tracts included in each sack. Mr. Atkins, Hooker Elementary School Principal, came to the church to receive the sacks from the girls. He will give them away as needed.

CJ Mouser & Raymond Bryant have been working hard on
installing the drapes for the new fellowship hall. If you haven't been by the fellowship hall lately, stop by and see what a change the drapes have made in appearance in the fellowship hall.
